Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels utilize active acids to help reverse the visual effects of sun damage/melasma, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, clear acne, and improve tone and texture. At SPMA, several different peels range from light, medium, and deep. Peels will be chosen based on skin type and area of concern.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning uses a special surgical blade to carefully remove the outer layer of dead skin cells and soft facial hair, leaving the skin smooth and clear. It provides deeper penetration of products and is an excellent addition to the chemical peel service.
Radio Frequency Microneedling
Microneedling – The Hottest Skin Care trend with Amazing results! Reduction in wrinkles, surgical scars, stretch marks, lip lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. Treatments of 3-4 for best results every 4-6 weeks.
Ultherapy®
Ultherapy® is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin, and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. Through the ultrasound imaging with Ultherapy®, energy is delivered precisely to the place where it will benefit you most—for natural-looking results that improve over time.
Injectables
Xeomin® is a “naked injectable,” it does not contain any additives. A benefit of a pure-form injectable is that the human body is less likely to become resistant to it. Prescription Xeomin® is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. Results last 3-6 months.
History of wrinkle reduction: In 2002, Botox® ushered in a new era for medical and cosmetic aesthetics when it became the first FDA-approved botulinum toxin for improvement in the appearance of moderate-to-severe frown lines and wrinkles. Dysport was approved for the same purpose in 2009, followed by Xeomin® in 2011.
To help correct and prevent lines and wrinkles, patients at SPMA have Xeomin® to treat, prevent, and reduce facial lines and wrinkles. Physicians perform injections.
